Collaboration with GADD
City of Ubuntu is pleased to announce the signing of its collaboration contract with Groupement d’appui au développement durable (GADD), a Cameroonian NGO whose mission is to promote the well-being and autonomy of the people they support, and to facilitate their inclusive integration into society in an equitable manner.
City of Ubuntu Cameroon and GADD share a common vision and values focused on social justice, living together and sustainable development.
City of Ubuntu Cameroon, along with her sister association in Austria, is inspired by the Ubuntu ethic to promote intercultural exchange, while conducting agricultural and livestock activities to self-finance her social projects. GADD, which is firmly rooted in Cameroon, enjoys the confidence of its stakeholders thanks to its support for producers in agro-ecology, product processing and marketing. Together, the two organizations are joining forces to maximize the impact of their initiatives.
An important step
After several months of exchanges between representatives of the two associations, City of Ubuntu and GADD finally signed the collaboration framework on March 12, 2025. The terms of the contract cover, among other things, mutual support in the realization of their common vision.
The first step of this collaboration was the organization of a training session at the Ubuntu Center. The training took place on March 24 , 2025, GADD experts had trained Ubuntu center’s staff in ecological agriculture .
This is just the beginning of a greeting adventure together.
