Save the date: City of Ubuntu at the Josefstädter Straßenfest 2023

Mark your calendar: on Friday, September 22, 2023, the annual Josefstädter Straßenfest in Vienna's 8th district will take place again and we will be there with a City of Ubuntu booth! You can expect a day full of positive energy, community spirit and opportunities to do good.

What is City of Ubuntu about?

City of Ubuntu is an association for the promotion of intercultural understanding, cooperation and solidarity. Through educational opportunities, anti-discrimination work and cultural exchange, we work towards a peaceful, solidary and communal future. Our pilot project is the establishment of the "City of Ubuntu" on a 27-hectare plot of land in Sanki, Cameroon. There, a basic infrastructure has already been created with a small building and a well, and livestock breeding and agriculture have begun. Our teams in Vienna and Cameroon also organize trips and seminars for intercultural exchange.
